[PCR-1000] ??

I had an SDR-14 for a brief period of time after they released it, I 
returned it. The Hardware looked pretty good, but I found their software to 
be unusable for my task. I was not using it as a standalone receiver, I was 
using it at the IF stage of my AR-5000. They told me they were working on 
software improvements, but I looked again a month or two ago and saw no 
changes.

Check out the GNU Radio project, again software is everything, but I saw 
some impressive demonstrations of that system in Dayton this year. Another 
year and I think it might be worth the price.
