Absolutely,

Its called the Radio Shack ,model # 26-183 port converter. Works perfectly
with XP and XP-Pro, and is transparent to Bonito 2.4, ICOM 2.2, and other
programs that can use Comm-4.

My PCR-1000 is on that port along with a few other programs. No
problems.....

I normally hate Radio Crap, but in this case they made a winner :-) !!
Amazing :-))

I considering buying a laptop today that does not have a 9-pin serial port.
Has anyone had success using the PCR-1000 with a usb to serial adapter
running under win xp? I seem to recall a few posts that indicated problems
using this configuration.
Thanks,
