[PCR-1000] What I use with my PCR 1000.

This is for the person curious what is being used with the PCR 1000.  I have my rig hooked to a switch box so that I can either run Probe 1k on an ancient 486 computer ( DOS) or by switching it I use my main machine ( 1.6 Gig Duron with Windows XP) with TalkPCR.  The main reason I got a PCR 1000 was so I could run Probe.  I didn't have the Opto controlled radios that it works with so when Probe1k happened I hunted down a PCR 1000.  I previously had ( and still have) a PCR 100 which I enjoy but it won't work with Probe1k ( very slow).  

I don't decode anything.  I just use the 1000 for conventional scanning and occasionally poke around the shortwave stuff.  I have an R 75 for serious shortwave and trunktrackers for trunking.
