[PCR-1000] Re Corrupt memory

This comment is a direct contradication of what ICOM support told me when they wanted to charge me a couple hundred dollars to fix my PCR-1000 with corruption.  They said the only way for it to occur was using third party software (which they have subsequently bundled with the unit, right?).  I had them mail it back to me without repair (still cost me about $50 or so for shipping, and their "evaluation"), and I reloaded my backup EEPROM copy just fine--complete and total fix for the unit.

Anyhow, the last two radios I bought were Kenwoods :)
