Subject: [PCR-1000] PCR-1000 Web Control?
Note to Max and others discussing web control of the PCR-1000:
I too would be very interested in purchasing Max's 4-receiver board, or=20
a
single receiver system.
I've been pursuing Kelly at Javoradio to license his Linux/MP3 solution=20
to me
for a commercial product, but evidently he can't release it for use=20
right now.
The idea of a single dedicated device to handle the tcp/ip, serial=20
control, and
audio encoding is really appealing. It could indeed be about the same=20
size as
the PCR-1000 itself, and very handy in not having to dedicate a full PC=20
at the
receiver site.
For my particular application, some of the end users may not be very=20
"tech"
oriented, so I'd certainly like to have the option to use a Java or=20
Flash front end
application to control it from a browser.
If any of you would like to cooperate to bring forth a real solution,=20
I'd certainly be
interested in participating, financially and otherwise. Max, if you're=20
going to make
any more boards like the one you described earlier in this thread, PUT=20
ME on the
list of people who want to buy one.
