[PCR-1000] PCR-1000 Web Control?

I'll look into it, though it probably makes more sense to produce a
mostly-populated PCB rather than a real kit, since many people would rather
not have to solder down 100-lead TQFPs or whatever - I know I sure don't!

I'd guesstimate at such a board costing around (UK)�25-30 in small
production for a 10/100-baseTX version, and probably �10 or so less for USB
1.1. I'm happy to share the schematics and such, of course.

As far as the PC software goes, I can release everything apart from the MP3
codec, since I'm using a (licensed) pukka Frauhoffer VR jobby. Should be
easy enough to hook up LAME or whatever, though. Most of the code's in C#
for .NET, and it has a fair chance of running under MONO or even DotGNU, I
guess.

This system of yours sounds wonderful.  Perhaps you could consider
selling a kit of parts to do this?  I'd certainly be interesting in
buying one - then I could DX at home while at work during my lunch
break!
