I'd add that if you plan on running more then one receiver or two good
antennas.... one for vhf+ and one for hf ... one of the best invesments you
can make is a Stridsberg Engineering receiver multicoupler. I've used them
myself at home and professionally and they are a top flight device.
Ordinary antenna switches have generally unacceptable signal loss for wek
signal work . A multicoupler with a built in zero gain amplifier also lets
you hook multiple receivers to an existing antenna.

I run one of HF and one for VHF (both amplified 4 port models MCA104 for HF
with 4 receivers attached and the MCA204 for VHF and above with at present 3
receivers attached) add a good passive switch at the antenna input of the
PCR-1000 to switch antennas and you really have a great system.
