[PCR-1000] making friends with new PCR-1000 software

when i emailed Perry Joseph (the author of the series of PROBE scanner 
control software) about an "upgrade" price for PROBE1K--since i already own 
a license for PROBEV7 for the Optocom--he replied thusly:

"As you have probably noticed, I have provided a $15 limited time
introductory discount to everyone in an attempt to build a solid base of
users for Probe1K. Hopefully, this will allow me to move forward with
future developments.

In recognition of loyal Probe V7 users, I am also providing a additional
$10 discount. In total, this represents better than a 25% discount off
the regular price. An upgrade order form follows my signature."


still, i sent him $15 because anything less seemed to be too little to pay 
for such excellent software.  actually, i didn't see the $15 introductory 
offer on the website, either.  now everyone on the list knows this 
"secret."  ;-)
