[PCR-1000] UHF Aerial

  I can't think of a better all round wide band UHF antenna.
Of course, a directed array offers more selectivity, and stronger
signal. But unless you get a log periodic, it's not wideband.
A TV antenna and a rotor should yield some favorable results, without
attracting TOO much attention. And you can even consider inline coax
antenna preamps. (However, too much signal can be a problem, too.)
   Everything is a compromise.
