You should NOT bring the PCR1K's output into the mic-in port.  Use the
line-in port instead.

The mic-in port is typically designed to take a very low signal from a
microphone.  Some sound cards (less expensive ones ?) may actually be
damaged by overdriving the mic-in port as they lack the needed over current
protection and/or the current handling capability of the line-in port.
