DRM Digital Radio Mondiale is a digital broadcast mode, planning to
substitute AM broadcast on SW and MW. The advantage is much better audio
quality and more reliability against fading. The DRM signal uses a bandwith
of 10 kHz, the modulation has some overhead to get abilty to reconstruct
audio signal even with fading or intermodulation. Deep fading will caus
totally loss of signal.
