[PCR-1000] NEW ICOM SOFTWARE for win2000, xp ,etc.

Hi All

A happy and prosperous New Year to you.

I did the following "rain dance" to de-archive the .lzh file:

Step1 download LHA255E.EXE

In Internet Exploder's edit window, type 

ftp://ftp.simtel.net

You should get icons with directory folders - got to
pub/simtelnet/msdos/arcers (I just clicked down the directory tree)

copy LHA255E.EXE to c:\lha

Step2 Extract LHA.EXE

I opened a "DOS BOX" (start->run and enter "cmd" in the edit window)

from the dos window type LHA255E

Step3 Download the Icom files to c:\lha

>From MSWindows rename the file to something simple like, "pcr.lzh"

Step4 Use lha to extract the file

>From the command prompt type 
"lha e pcr.lzh" - the files will be extracted

Step5 - run setup
from the command prompt, type "setup.exe"

Apologies to all those who know this - just delete, please don't flame
me, as I get enough of that driving to work. ( I couldn't get lha to
work through WinZip - I just got CRC errors).

I suppose Icom were trying to do us all a favour by zipping the files
in a genuinely free utility. If anyone is stuck - please feel free to
email me.
