Hi Roger
Mine kind of sounds like your #4. It's a Lakewood, has 8
horizontal/vertical elements. The horizontal elements have about a 1"
down facing U halfway, and about 3" of the ends are raked up at about
30=BA. I've had for at least 10 years and its fed with 9913. I can't =
find
a link, maybe they went under. Looking at a new antenna for the
spring/summer project list I found this double discone I kind of like,
for the scanners.
