Under Decoding-basic parameters select
AM+PLL+Coh.Det
This should make it straight unless your internal oscillator on your sound
card or computer chip oscillator is way off. Adjusting this is easy also but
takes some tweaking, but it is good to have it properly adjusted and only
has to be done once.
You adjust it by setting the decoding-basic parameters to just AM. Then
decode an image. A properly adjusted card will create a picture with a
slight bow representing the Doppler shift as the satellite approaches and
recedes, with the center of the bow located right over your location on the
image. If the whole picture slants one way or the other or the center of the
bow isn't over you then you have to adjust the value "fs-correction" in the
section "parameters-common". The value is always VERY close to 1.000000,
just above or below. Mine is 1.000010. Start by trying 1.000010 or 0.999910
then decode the picture and see if is worse or better. It takes a few tries
to nail down the right value for your PC.
