COM1 and 2 are in use for other devices.  I remember juggling things around
months ago to find a combination that worked and at that time the devices on
COM1 and 2 had to be there as their software wouldn't recognise teh USB
serial port.  I've been using this setup for months without problems as
TalkPCR is happy using that USB serial port.

I'll have another play though to see if I can juggle things a different way
to get the PCR1000 onto a "real" serial port.
