Clearly, they ( Icom ) need to have their collective heads examined on
this issue. Has ANYONE received ANY assistance from Icom in regards to
this Bonito software for ANY issue that may have resulted in discomfort
?? I would really be interested to hear if this has occurred. As I
have a beef with them in regards to a corrupted EEPROM that this
software caused, adding $150.00US to the price of my first radio. And,
irregardless of Bonito being in bed with Icom, or vice-versa, they never
would have answered anyway. Ahh... The price of wisdom.....

The deal with Bonito and Icom was that ICOM provide all the end user
technical support, so don't be surprised if Bonito don't answer.

Given Icom's track record, you seriously expected them to provide
useful
software with the radio? They're probably providing Radiocom 4 because
they
got a great deal on it.
Bonito: "You can have as many copies as you want, but you don't get
support."
Icom: "Thanks!"
