Windows

Hi Traugott and all,
Windows is always "doing something" with its crude multitasking, which
means that the circuits are switching and producing noise. DOS sits and
does nothing until an interrupt is received, so the only interference
you get is from the screen and power supply. If you have a DOS program
running in a loop, you will probably get the interference back. If you
want I'll give you a program "interference.exe" to test this out. There
is a DOS program for the PCR 1000 somewhere - I keep meaning to try it.
I was always happier with DOS but had to learn Windows programming in
order to keep my job ..
