[PCR-1000] Windows XP home

You are one of the very lucky few, Windows XP Home Version on a Sony Vaio
running a 1.3 GHz AMD Athlon processor won't work whether the tool bar is
modified or not, the program generates a fatal error immediately on
execution.  TalkPCR does work (kind of) under XP but unfortunately because
I use a Macintosh in the internet and the Sony to control the radio, I
can't get any of the TalkPCR registration to work when the files are
downloaded to the Mac then copied to floppy disk and transferred to the
Sony.  I have tried this operation over and over and have finally given up
on it.

You should count yourself extremely lucky to be able to still use your
radio, mine just collects dust unless a friend with a Windows 95, 98 or NT
4.0 machine comes by for a visit and I can load up the Icom 1.31 software
and then use the radio for a few minutes.

Glad someone has made something work with that rotten XP operating system,
it has to be the worst piece of junk ever put out on the street by the
"gurus" at Microsoft.
