[PCR-1000] EPROM Corruption

My units is turned on 24/7 scanning or when I am here listening to various=
=20
freqs.
It is connected by RG213 and I also anticipated heat so made a mount so its=
=20
elevated off on the desk allowing air flow all round.

Having said all that, Its always cold to the touch.
the ICs inside may be getting warm but not enough to heat the case.

On a different subject... I do not have the UT-106 DSP but am thinking of=
 it.
One of the main uses for me is 137Mhz satellites.
Would anyone in their own experience suggest that the DSP helps clarify the=
=20
signals?
