[PCR-1000] EPROM Corruption

I don't know the =A3=A3=A3's

BUT...

its crazy to think of costs for repair when they are fixing a fault that=20
their hardware has developed due to their software.
I have heard of built in life spans but this is stupid!
Perhaps someone could explain more about why this happens?
Is it perhaps over heating in the unit?
