Whatever in the world for? To date Icom has acted just like the
large mainframe hardware and software vendors I have to work
with[1] every day: delay, deny, point fingers, and blame the
customer. Do you really think that an Icom presence here on this
tiny mailing list, discussing a product which forms a negligible
part of their revenue base, could have _any_ effect on corporate
policy or direction?

I have no such expectations.

[1] For values of "work with" which are very close to "fight".
