[PCR-1000] Icom USA

Its an old one this ever since the Pcr1000 was introduced Icom didnt realy 
want to know anything more than the $$$ from sales.........I was in the UK 
from 82 to 99 and Icom supplied our Radio System (NZ Govt London).

I got to know there staff well and even brought a  IC-R1 for my own use   
direct from them ....But they are controlled by Japan who all though are Ham 
Radio orientated ,  are not 100% re PC radios, as it looks like a passing 
fad (That was the 99 view) Their thoughts from a Pickets Lock Display.

They maintain they want to concentrate on Base Receivers, and now Millitary 
Contracts, as well as Mainer, and Air systems...
Dont blame the Staff.
The Problem is Japan, and unless you can change the Oriental mind then it 
will be here for yonks.
