It works well with TalkPCR.

I set it up for "right-turn=UP ARROW" "left-turn=DOWN ARROW" and

"push-right-turn"=RIGHT ARROW and "push-left-turn"=LEFT ARROW

highlight the virtual tuning knob and the knob makes up and down tuning.
Highlight to the volume/squelch virtual knobs and you can control volume.
No, it is not perfect. But it really helps make the radio seem like a radio.
