[PCR-1000] PCR1000 on windows XP: Solved!

Hi all, 

Thanks to Don, Robert, Pete and Douglas for their helpful suggestions on
getting pcr1000 to work on windows xp pro. The suggestions worked!

Turns out I had two problems on my machine:

1) I had an older version of TalkPCR, which evidently doesn't support
windows xp as well as the newest version.
2) My Palm HotSync manager was siezing control of the serial port so
that it was not avaialble to Talk PCR.

So...

Installed the newer version of TalkPacr and disable the Palm port
monitoring and everything works as well now as it did on my W98
machines.
