[PCR-1000] Talk PCR

I have two questions for the group.

1. I've seen a dos program that will back up the EPROM on the PCR. =
Although I've also read that the only way to repair the problems with =
the EPROM is to send it to ICOM....if this is the case, what is the =
point of backing up the EPROM.

2. I'd like to use the TAlkPCR program (I think that's the name of it). =
What are the chances of this screwing up the PCR-1000?
