I'll have to keep an eye out for this software once I get my 1000 back
on-line again.  Iam using the MFJ in a base configuration with my Yaesu FROG
100.  It's a good combo and serves me well.....but I need the 1000 as it
allows me to hear storm spotters in my area, where there are a lot of
tornados.  I also enjoy hearing other things as well....otherwise I wouldn't
have bought the 1000 in the first place!
