I am considering adding the DSP option to the PCR-1000, however I have never had the unit demonstrated, so I am wondering if it is a worthwhile addition. I would also like to know if anyone has compared the ICOM DSP unit with software DSP processing such as the Swezey Digital Filter which will process audio coming into a soundcard.
