[PCR-1000] Error in TalkPCR?

Write that off to WinDoze "anomalies". I just had to download a new
driver from Hewlett Packard, after wasting 6 hours of my time to
determine the reason why my tape backup did no longer work. The
poor programmers for HP (and hundreds of other software suppliers)
have to write different drivers for WIndows 3.1, 95,98, 98SE,2000, XP and NT4.
Lets all send thank you notes to Mr. Gates and his successor.
