  This is correct: to use an example, we plan to do a R-390/URR skin for
the radio. This would look like, and offer the same RF range and modes as,
the 'real thing', insofar as the PCR-1K can perform within the R-390's
parameters.  Your screen would look like an R-390 panel, targetting and
manipulating the bandswitch knob and / or the tuning knob would tune the
PCR to the frequency indicated in the R-390 mechanical readout, and the
other R-390 knobs would perform their indicated functions.

  Obviously, there will have to be a few trade-offs / compromises made,
but mainly we're doing this to have some Cool Fun with a fine little
receiver.
