[PCR-1000] Laptops for running the PCR1000?

don't expect much of a laptop for �27 (current bid)!
i have an SN series which i guess is similar.  no serial port except via the
plug in port replicator which is cumbersome (has this got a port replicator
?).   try finding info on the web - v difficult except for replacement
batteries (expensive) and memory - 48M isn't much these days unless you ONLY
want to "run the PCR1000".

also be careful - its not the PCR1000 that you're running but the software.
Check that whatever software you're using will work on Win95.  you won't be
changing operating system on this pc.  you can be almost sure that any new
software is unlikely to be supported on Win95 - but that might not be
important to you.

You could well find that replacing a knackered battery, and finding a port
replicator might cost / be more trouble than its worth.  best investigate.
