[PCR-1000] TalkPCR & XP

I agree that TalkPCR will work with XP (as bad as I have come to HATE XP),
the "demo" version did work but there were several things that I just liked
about the Icom software better.  Then there was the snafu trying to get a
registered copy of TalkPCR.  I tried several times and either I was going
to the wrong site or something as I could never get to the point of paying
to get the software "registered".  I gave up on it...........
I had a Icom America rep respond to a e-mail that they were coming out with
new software but apparently it is some other third party developed
application - again I went to the web site and attempted to download the
demo but it would error immediately.  I tried this 3 or 4 times and gave up
on it as well.
I am waiting for someone to make me a offer I can't refuse for the PCR1000
and I will just do without the frustration (I have even tried with no luck
to buy a "cheap" Windows 95 notebook just run this ONE program).
