[PCR-1000] Eprom

This was EXACTLY my point when Icom tech support said my corrupted eprom 
*had* to be from 3rd party software.

I explained to them how I've loaded dozens of radio control programs, many 
of which scan all serial ports.  And that perhaps they should protect the 
receiver from damage caused by other software on the system.

They acted like they had no idea what I was talking about...
