A while back someone posted the answer to the NT/2000/XP problems with the
original ICOM PCR-1000 software.

What you need to do is install the software and then before running it,
there is a .INI file in the install directory, somewhere in that INI file
there is an entry something like (I don't have it in front of me)
"toolbar=1" or something. This is the icon toolbar that shows up in the
software. Set this to '0' and the toolbar will be removed, but it will
allow the software to work correctly under Windows NT/2000/XP. I have it
running fine on my Windows XP laptop with the DSP unit installed and
working.
