[PCR-1000] WinXP, Win2000, UT-106, USB serial

I could not get my Icom to work on Win2000 or XP until I followed the
below thread -
Also, after making this change I was able to reinstall my UT-106 without
crashing. And I use PcrTalk -
I'm also using a USB to serial (Belkin)... for my sony lappy -
Occansionally I get the can't find error.
Seems to be best to turn off the Software before exiting the software.
Then launch the software, turn on the Icom and turn on the software. But
most of the time it works -
