I got a 60 watt light bulb and a 3" exhaust fan in there too..... they run
all the time. Power and audio up and down..... I don't do any packet on it.
Plus serial cable.....

While I am on...
Does anyone know if the video adaptor for the Icom R-7000 will work with the
R8600?

How has the receiver reacted to the temperature extremes? I was
considering leaving it in my car on occasion, but the printed
temperature specifications are nowhere near the range required
for Michigan weather (Summer or Winter!).
