[PCR-1000] a real knob for tuning the PCR-1000

Has anyone tried the wheel on the mouse?
My new work PC has a wheel mouse and this is my first
experience with one, I use a track ball at home, and an
Alps "Glide Path" on the laptop. The mouse wheel has a nice  and
controlled scroll. I think it can be programmed to function as either the left 
or right button, and it also appears to be a button it self.
