[PCR-1000] a real knob for tuning the PCR-1000

Anyone who has purchased a Griffin unit have you made it work as a tuning
control for PCR-1000 ?  If so how?  How have you linked it to the PCR
software?

I have one but cannot seem to make it work (PCR under win 2000 work
station).  Am I missing something or just being a bit stupid ? !!!
