Howdy all HAMS!!! Next club meeting is November 13. At 6pm at the Ameca
restaurant in White Hall,ar.If anyone has a mew place in mind just speak up
and let  us all know next meeting. Also I would like to bring to your
attention the possibility of buying a new dual band vertical for the
repeater site. The one we now have is about 6db on 144 and 8db on 440.I
would like to consider one with 8.3db on 144 and 11.7 on 440.This is about a
$200 expense and I believe it would help extend our range. Please think
about it and we will talk at the next meeting. THERE is also a problem
resetting the clock on the 440 repeater. It does not want to  accept the
command string  so for now we will have to just ignore the time
announcement. Also the GrandPrairie Club is pushing a SEARK hamfest the date
is set for may 4th,2013. At Dewitt community center. Can we maybe sponsor a
door prize?? Keith,kk5zd, brought the idea up tonite. Lets think about it!
