Just a rough draft overview:

Here is what we are thinking so far on the Grand Prairie Hamfest in southeast Arkansas. I can't make all the club meetings to spread the word myself so please share with club members. Still asking for thoughts or idea we can use. If your club can help us and supply any type door prizes we will announce your club name and location when we give it away at the event. Venders to contact about event would help also.Thanks.

 

Grand Prairie Hamfest  Dewitt Ark.

When:

May 4th 2013  <x-apple-data-detectors://0>  ,9 am till 4pm

 

Where:

Community center inside the Dewitt city park. Off of Hwy 1

 

Prizes: ( Not purchased yet)

Main Drawing at 2pm <x-apple-data-detectors://2>  must be present to win!

Raffle tickets $1.00 each

Fees:

Entry fee: $2

Tables: $10.00 each inside for selling used radio gear or crafts.

No tailgate spaces outside

 

Vendors: 2 tables free, then $10 each

 

Cold drinks or bottle water $1.00

Prairie Dog plate lunches $6.00

Chili /cheese dog, fries, cold drink.

Homemade desserts $2.00 slice

 

VE testing, available.  We're thinking 10am till  12noon

Talk in station on 146.580 simplex

 

At this time we have 3 vendors lined up so for the event. I will tell about them later.
