Here ya go... some info on interfacing the rc210 controllers with radios.

<----As others have pointed out, MTRs generally have their own 
enocoder/decoder which is easy to "tap" for use with an external 
controller. If for some reason the one you have doesn't have CTCSS 
(quite rare), you can always add a ComSpec TS-64, which is probably the 
single-most popular aftermarket board out there.

Whichever you end up doing, you want to route a separate COS signal and 
a separate CTCSS decode signal to the controller and let IT make the 
decision as to access mode. Also, do take advantage of the Encode 
Control Output as this will make operation much more flexible for you
