Everyone,
I received the email below this morning and checked the story out on Fox
16 news - it is true. There is a man around the Saline County area who
has attempted to kidnap a child or children on more than one occasion.
The police are now asking for help from the public, according to Fox 16.
Supposedly, the man has been seen as far south as Pine Bluff, but Fox 16
did not mention that. This story can be read at klrt.com.
Thank you.
Apparently the update was on Fox 16 last night & I missed it. This is
terrible!
Please pass this on to anyone you know that has children. The interview
that was on Fox 16 news last night was with Rusty Warner a friend of
ours, it was his two Daughters that this man attempted to pick up back
on the 5th of May. And this below is from a friend of mine over at
Baptist, today.
Hi everyone -
First let me be clear that this is not "spam" so please continue
reading. Second, I want to praise God for keeping my niece and her
friend safe today. Most of you know my niece Lydia. She is 11 years old
and lives in Maple Creek Farms in what used to be my parents' house.
Today she was swimming at their next door neighbor's house when a red
(possibly Dodge) late model pickup pulled into the yard and straight up
to the side of the swimming pool. A man opened the door and asked Lydia
and her friend (who were alone in the pool) if their parents' were home.
Both kids said yes and then ducked under the water. The man began
backing down the driveway when the parents ran outside. By the time they
were able to get in a vehicle to follow him, he was gone. The Saline
County Sheriff's Dept has confirmed that the man was most likely the
kidnapping suspect that the news reported about late last week. This is
the boldest move he has made - he normally approaches kids in a public
area, like a ball park - so they think he is possibly getting close to
actually taking a child if he gets the chance. He has been switching
vehicles constantly, so they've had a hard time finding him. Please pray
that he is caught soon. In the meantime, please take some extra
precautions to keep your children safe. I've sent this to everyone b/c
the Sheriff's dept told my sister that he has not been staying in just
the Saline County area but has been reported as far south as Pine Bluff
and has been steadily moving north. He is a chubby, white man with pale
blond hair and is going bald. He has green eyes. Again, pray that he is
found soon before he hurts a child.
