All -

A check of the SWR at the 70 site yielded:

Pf = 20
Pr =  5

SWR = 3:1

It appears we have an antenna problem. We will secure a climber and most likely replace the fiberglass antenna with the DB225 that used to be on the Noble lake site.

The problems we are seeing are very characteristic of a fiberglass antenna that has been hit by lightening or been exposed to a close strike.

The nets scheduled for the 146.700 repeater will be held on 146.700 simplex until the antenna is swapped. Again, the frequency is 146.700 simplex.

Be reminded of other local repeaters:

147.240
147.165 (White Hall)
147.195
442.175

73,

Glenn

PS:

Please keep the following individuals in your thoughts and prayers:

Ed Warren, my father-in-law
Jack and Mary Ellen Jehlen (KJ5PE and N5STN)
