Like Hank, I found that it was very rough going on 75 meter cw and 80 meter phone from out here in Michigan last night.
So far, I have 142 qsos in the contest, only about 20 of which were on 75 and 80 last evening.
Thunderstorm QRN was just too heavy.
Here's hoping for better luck on 40 again today.
P.S. Hank and I probably live about 25 miles apart.

Subject: [PaQSO] Big storm hit here
Tried to get on PA QSO Party this evening, but storm was coming in from the west, and probably was hitting Pennsylvania, because only one CW station was able to hear my "mighty 5 watts". Typically I have no trouble working Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and other states in that area on 80 meters in the evening.
There was (maybe still is) a big storm which hit Kalamazoo County, Michigan as well as others. The football game at Western Michigan University was flooded out, and the weather bureau reported 6 inches of rain in City of Kalamazoo.
Hope things clear up by tomorrow afternoon, or I'll send in my one CW Q and one multiplier.
