[PaQSO] County lines

I wholeheartedly agree with Tom on this. AFIK every other party that allows county line contacts gives credit for a QSO from each county. In the case of the PaQP with serial numbers (I believe PA is the only serial number contest with county line QSOs), allowance needs to be made for the non-line station’s log showing subsequent number for the additional counties, even though only one number was sent by him.

I also agree with Tom’s previous comment on the 1AM Saturday night end time. As a mobile, trying to hit a distant motel at 1AM, followed by only eight hours to get settled and get some sleep, is a major detriment. The extra hour would be a big help. It would be interesting to see some data on the number of active stations and number of QSOs made in the 0400Z hour.

You go through a lot of trouble to find a place to set up camp on the line, just for a single QSO point per contact. I'd much rather operate mobile or rover from those same counties, getting QSO points for each county.

And there's a lot more exchange information to send/receive depending on the number of county lines you're on.
