Hello all

At K3MJW we had a great time. It was FB working all the area hams. BIG
thanks to all the rovers and especially to Mike for all he does. Got the
clean sweep! Everyone says “Field Day and PA QSO Party” for favorite events
of the hammy year.

K3MJW ran multi-multi with three radios. Had a nice fire going outside to
hang out on the off-times. We had our PA QSO apple pie bake-off. Life was
good.

I chuckle at the dupe discussion. There is NO REASON not to work the dupes.
Either someone didn’t log the Q right, a difference in how is was entered
or whatever. It doesn’t matter. Don’t even tell them they are a dup. Just
workem and move on. It takes the least amount of time and everyone is
happy. No harm done. Work the dups. As one of my elmers (W3RSR/SK) told
people when he was a dup “I just wanted to let you know I’m still thinking
about you”.

We used N1MM+ for the first time. It worked GREAT 98% for us with only
minor issues.

- The cluster would drop out every now and then. We would need to close out
the program on the master computer and re-start the program. Not sure why.
It happened around 3 times during the contest.

- Every now and then the serial number would revert to 0 (as shown in the
entry window). After entering the next call in the window it would go back
to the correct number and continue to be fine. The only time it was a
problem was with CW. If you got a request for a # repeat the program would
give a serial number of 1 instead of the correct number. After you enter
another call and hit the space bar it was fine again.

The network was rock-solid. We loved many of the new features. Looking
forward to the next contests using N1MM+

Again, great working yall. We had a GREAT time.
