Here is a thought.  I like your comment that it will never replace the
staple modes, but what about if the PAQP took a leap it promoting these
modes by offering bonus points, or increase the point value of these
contacts (kind of like VHF contest).

Ver 1- Offer a 100 bonus for 5 or less contacts on Digital and 10 point
bonus for each additional 10 contacts= for 15 contacts you would get 110
point bonus
Ver 2- Each of the digital modes would carry higher point weight vs the
current 2pt value.  Say digital contacts were worth 5 points each.
