Please don't!

Were it not for county line stations there would be far less opportunity to work "all 67" or to achieve a score higher than last year's.

It can be a wee-bit challenging to log these stations, or to calculate the score, but a little bit of pre-contest planning and practice should solve this problem.

County-line operation is one of the unique aspects of PaQP. I'm happy that it exists--especially when I work a double mult, and still have "operating on a county line in PaQP" on my bucket list.

I am considering ending county line stations. I'd like some feedback pse. reply

Subject: [PaQSO] Query regarding county line stations

Here's an item I'd like some feedback on.

County line stations.

Every year, we have people who have a terrible time figuring out how to work
county line stations, and I'm not sure that even the explanations really do that
much to alleviate the confusion.

Typical problems include:

Mobiles who want to operate both mobile and county line.
The difference between 1 or 2 QSO county line operations.
Troubles with the logging software. Note that the logging softwares do log them
okay, it's that the Ops have a hard time figuring out how to do so.

In addition:

The county line station has to be in it for the fun of searching out and setting
up on a county line. There is no scoring advantage for them.

I am considering ending county line stations. I'd like some feedback pse. reply
via the reflector if you all would.
