If you are a N1MM Logger user you can count on the software being ready for
the PA QSO party. No need to worry. It will be updated if necessary prior
to the QSO Party.

The answer to the question of whether Ontario remains VE3 or changes to
something else is not within the purview of Radio Amateurs of Canada/Radio
Amateurs du Canada That decision has not even being promulgates (at least I
haven't heard of it.)
The point is that Ontario will be changing into three "sections" and PA QSO
Party rules are (or have been) set up on the basis of ARRL/RAC sections.
The names, and thus abbreviations, for these sections, have not been
announced yet, so folks are in a tizzy about what to do about logging
software. Knowing the speed at which many national ham radio organizations
operate, many expect the names and preferred abbreviations to be made only
minutes before the November ARRL Sweepsteaks, which will give the software
developers for that contest (and for the PA QSO Party) almost zero time to
throw out an "alpha version" of the new software to accommodate the change.
But, we can be optimistic and assume that Radio Amateurs of Canada/Radio
Amateurs du Canada have their act together, and will get things done at
least 2 microseconds before the absolute drop dead date for inclusion in the
Sweepsteaks and PAQSO party logging software.
In the meantime, I expect lots of people will be figuratively wringing their
hands and gnashing their teeth here in this, and other ham radio reflectors
over a matter with which they have no control. That's how these reflectors
are wont to operate.

The NARC runs this contest. Decide what YOU want the multipliers to be.

a problem, then make a choice. Pick something else. Count all of the new
Ontario sections as one, as if nothing had changed. Defer any changes for a
year. Or count Canadian Provinces. It doesn't matter. You make the rules for
the PA QSO Party, not the ARRL/RAC.
