This year I spent as much time as I could working he PaParty. I had my
Orion die and befoer that ,for cw, the encoders would shift speed. I fix it
and then tried cw agn. I had a hard time with some of the stations that
were so speed. Once I set the encoder for the padle I couldn't change it.
Murphy agn.
Ok, I quit cw because my q's were slowing down.

I would have liked to work more cw for the cw only group. If was spotted I
would have stayed longer.
I did what I could with 40 watts and a dipole at 40 ft end and 10 ft center.
Next year with help, I would like to have my towers up and yagi's 40 through
2 meters.
When working a rare county and the only one operator in the contest presents
a problem of time. How many q's per hour can you lose by working 6 meters
and 20 meters rather then 40 meters ? I had no luck on 20 meters or 6.

On Saturday I had abt 300 q's before 1100 hrs. Sunday I only made abt 100
q's. conditions ? I was forced to the band edges to call CQ. There I
missed the general class op's. I couldn't hold a freq in the mid band. gud
ole boys at 7245 to 7250. I guess they were operating wide band SSB
Then there were the "nets", daily chat groups. 75 meters was worse with AM
and other "nets" and QRM'ers.
Contesting is becoming work and frustration with intolerant operators.
