Yup, I was resoundingly "called" on this observation about the Nittany
ARC. My only association with the term "Nittany" has been with watching
the Penn State University athletic teams on TV. I did fly into College
Station once on a 10 passenger puddle jumper from Pittsburgh once - on
some business deal, details of which I don't remember.
You fellers do a FB job, so a small donation from each participant seems
in order.
I only wish other states had as good publicity and resultant turnout for
their QSO Parties!
It was a delight to work so many Pennsylvania station with my mighty 5
watts to an antenna which has proven to be "somewhat better than a dummy
load buried 6' under ground." Even 20 metres opened up to your state
from Michigan on Sunday p.m.
